The Optimism Foundation stewards the Optimism Collective, the governance and funding body of the OP Stack and Superchain ecosystem. Since 2025 Retro Funding operates as ongoing Missions (such as Dev Tooling and Onchain Builders) with rolling application windows and metrics-driven evaluation rather than annual rounds.1,2,3
