Makes grants aimed at positively influencing the long-term trajectory of civilization, primarily by reducing global catastrophic risks -- especially from advanced AI and pandemics -- via technical research, policy, advocacy, infrastructure, and field-building. Grants range from $1,000 to over $500,000 (recent grants roughly $6k-$175k), through focused rounds plus an always-open application evaluated in the next round.
