Effective Altruism Funds accepts rolling applications through the Animal Welfare, EA Infrastructure and Transformative AI funds. The Long-Term Future Fund has closed. The umbrella page gives a $1,000-$500,000 request range; Transformative AI grants are typically $10,000-$150,000 and rarely exceed $300,000. Global Health and Development currently does not accept applications.

The Transformative AI Fund is the EA Funds grantmaking fund for technical AI safety and AI governance, launched on August 11, 2026 with a new team as the successor to the closed Long-Term Future Fund. It is always open to applications and publishes quarterly reports. Grants are typically $10,000 to $150,000 and rarely exceed $300,000.
