PIBBSS AI Safety Fellowship

Principles of Intelligence runs PIBBSS as a three-month interdisciplinary AI safety research fellowship for about 20 researchers. The Winter 2026-2027 cohort is primarily based in Cape Town and provides a $3,000 monthly stipend, accommodation, meals, travel, and dedicated mentorship; remote participation is limited to exceptional cases.
