Wellcome Early-Career Awards
Wellcome funds early-career researchers developing independent projects that advance understanding or methods relevant to life, health and wellbeing. Awards usually run for five years and cover the grantee salary plus up to £400,000 in research expenses, with some additional costs outside that limit. Applications are accepted year-round. Administering organizations must be in the UK or an eligible low- or middle-income country in Africa, South Asia or South-East Asia, excluding mainland China.
