Wellcome Career Development Awards
Wellcome funds mid-career researchers developing research leadership and programmes relevant to life, health and wellbeing. Awards usually run for eight years, with justified research costs and annual expenditure usually below £250,000 excluding the applicant salary. Applications are accepted year-round. Administering organizations must be in the UK or an eligible low- or middle-income country in Africa, South Asia or South-East Asia, excluding mainland China.
