UNICEF Femtech Ventures second call: up to US$100,000 for open-source femtech startups (apply by Nov 4)
UNICEF Femtech Ventures, part of the UNICEF Venture Fund, is selecting its second annual cohort of companies that use frontier technology such as AI, machine learning, blockchain or data science to build open-source solutions for the health, wellbeing, and sexual and reproductive health and rights of women and girls. Selected companies receive up to US$100,000 in equity-free funding, 12 months of technical mentorship and access to UNICEF's global network. UNICEF especially wants companies registered in a UNICEF programme country, with a working prototype and a commitment to open-source licensing. Women-led startups and founders under 35 are strongly encouraged. Solutions should fit one of three areas, healthcare access, reproductive health, or mental wellbeing, safety and protection. Apply through UNICEF's online form by November 4, 2026 at 11:59 PM CET.
