ISPA Inspection Prize
Survival and Flourishing Corp (SFC), a public benefit corporation, offers a prize of $5 million to $20 million for initiating Independently Supervised and Peer-Assisted (ISPA) inspections between frontier AI labs, aimed at pre-deployment security risks such as lab leaks and sandbox exfiltration. Jaan Tallinn contributes a minimum of $5 million, plus another $5 million at a 1:2 matching rate with other funders. The prize is paid to the people and institutions who initiate, coordinate and supervise an inspection, if anyone succeeds, with shares set by an after-the-fact credit assessment among the winners. Candidates can optionally ask SFC to vet their supervisory expertise, independence and institutional integrity through an eligibility inquiry form, and can separately request grant support for a prospective inspection through the Survival and Flourishing Fund.
