SIP-31 Interim Grants
The Stacks Foundation ran SIP-31 Interim Grants, open-ended grants meant to bridge community builders to the programs expected from the Stacks Endowment, as part of bringing SIP-031 resources to the ecosystem. Applications of all varieties were accepted, with strong preference for existing open-source builders showing traction (active users, transaction volume, TVL, with waitlists weighed lightly), assessed by Foundation staff with three community panelists. Applications closed September 30, 2025; 30 complete applications arrived and 24 were supported, with awarded grants tracked as issues in the stacksgov GitHub repository. The Foundation's grants page links the open issues as In-Progress Grants that are actively funded, and points new builders to Stacks Endowment grants and DeGrants. No amounts are published.
