International Science Partnerships Fund International Collaboration Awards
The Royal Society's International Collaboration Awards, funded by the International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF) through the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, support research collaborations between UK-based researchers and partners in Brazil and South Africa. Awards are up to £300,000 over three years and can cover research expenses, travel and subsistence, a contribution towards research assistance, and training. Both the UK-based researcher and the overseas collaborator must be newly independent and building their own research group, and the proposal must be co-developed and fall within the Society's natural sciences remit. Applications involving Brazil or South Africa must focus on ODA-eligible research. Applications go through Flexi-Grant from 13 October 2026 to 3 December 2026, with decisions by 31 May 2027.
