Ronin Ecosystem Grants
Ronin Ecosystem Grants was a grants program for builders on Ronin, announced on 16 January 2025 with a $10M fund. It offered Builder Grants of up to $300K in RON with milestone-based unlocks and Waypoint Gas Grants of $20K in RON for teams integrating Ronin Waypoint, with applications accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed in about 3 to 4 weeks. Later posts added the Forge Innovation Grant (a $300K total pool in RON, 31 July 2025) and renamed Builder Grants to Lightning Grants (up to $20K in RON, 8 August 2025). The grants portal now says the program has been sunset and is closed, and that builder rewards flow through Proof of Distribution.
