UK Dynamism Fund
The UK Dynamism Fund (UKDF) is a philanthropic fund anchored by XTX Markets, led by Andrew Bennett and incubated by Renaissance Philanthropy. It funds individuals and organisations with a track record of excellence and an ambitious proposal to build UK dynamism across talent programmes, science and technology, institutions and policy, and aesthetics, culture and media. It offers fellowships for people to develop or incubate a new project, and grants, most of them initially up to £50k. The application form states initial grants of typically £5,000 to £50,000 over 3 to 6 months and larger grants of typically £50,000 to £500,000 over 12 to 18 months, assessed on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline. Applicants need not be UK based, no more than 10% of a grant can go to overheads, and party-political activity is not funded.
