Mobility and Development Programme
Open Science NL funds study visits abroad for open science professionals such as data stewards, research software engineers and community managers. Applicants need a permanent post, or a fixed-term post lasting at least to the end of the project, at an eligible Dutch research organisation; zero-hour contract holders cannot apply. A grant is up to EUR 25,000 per project from a EUR 500,000 total budget, for a project of up to nine months made up of a study visit of up to six months and up to three months of dissemination. Applications go through NWO's ISAAC system and may be submitted at any time, with no intermediate deadlines. The final deadline is 3 December 2026 before 14:00 CET.
