FAIR Research Outputs
Open Science NL funds FAIR Research Outputs, a call for making non-traditional research outputs open and FAIR (objective 1) and for activities that make research outputs open and FAIR (objective 2). Professionals with a paid position at Dutch universities, universities of applied sciences, university medical centres, KNAW and NWO institutes and some other named research organisations can apply through NWO's ISAAC system. Grants are up to EUR 50,000 per project from a EUR 1,400,000 grant ceiling, split into four categories of up to EUR 350,000 each. Proposals are handled in order of receipt, with an interim submission date of 1 December 2026 and a final date of 23 February 2027 at 14:00 CET if the ceiling has not been reached. The page states that the budget for Life Sciences and Health was exhausted as of 8 October 2026 and that the budget for the call has been fully exhausted, and says the round closes once the ceiling is reached, so the call is recorded as closed to new proposals.
