Open Access Books
NWO funds Book Processing Charges for open access publication of peer-reviewed academic books that result from NWO-funded research; the call is listed on Open Science NL's calls page. Project leaders or co-applicants of awarded NWO research projects who hold a tenured or tenure-track position at an eligible Dutch research organisation can apply. Up to EUR 10,000 is available per research project, including Dutch VAT where applicable, from a EUR 300,000 total budget. There are no deadlines and applications go through NWO's ISAAC system at any time while budget remains. The page says about EUR 50,000 remains, that the call closes as soon as the budget is used, and that it reopens in January 2027.
