Data Science Investigator Programme
The Novo Nordisk Foundation's Data Science Investigator Programme supports research leaders based in Denmark at three career stages in data science and computational science: Emerging, Ascending and Distinguished. Grants are up to DKK 14.7 million over up to five years, and up to DKK 99 million a year is available across the three career levels. Applicants must be employed and based in Denmark, act as principal investigator independently of more senior researchers, and anchor the project at a Danish university or non-profit research institution that administers the grant. Applications go through the foundation's NORMA system, and the applicant must choose the correct career-level call because applications are not transferred between categories. The 2026 call ran from March 6 to July 15, 2026, results are due in December 2026, and the next call is planned for spring 2027.
