Neon Open Source Program
Neon sponsors maintainers of actively developed projects under OSI-approved licenses, including eligible commercial open source projects, through monthly GitHub Sponsors payments on six-month terms. It commits at least $200,000 per year across the program; individual monthly amounts are set during review, and optional Neon and AI Gateway credits of up to $5,000 each are separate from cash. Projects must enable GitHub Sponsors and display an agreed sponsorship logo, and they do not need to use Neon or Postgres.
