Metaplex Community Grants
The Metaplex DAO funds grants that support the growth or development of the Metaplex Protocol, and 50% of protocol revenue is dedicated to buying $MPLX for the DAO. Proposals go through the Community Grant category of the Metaplex Improvement Proposals site, using a form that asks for a title, abstract, description, $MPLX amount requested, beneficiary wallet, team and milestones. Submitters connect a GitHub account and a wallet and must hold 200 $MPLX. Proposals that meet the requirements go to a DAO vote, and all tokens delivered through DAO grants are locked for one year. Submissions are public and earlier proposals are viewable in the Metaplex DAO GitHub discussions.
