MetaEarth Hackathon 2026: BEACON
Meta Earth and its Taiwan node run the MetaEarth Hackathon 2026: BEACON with Taiwan Blockchain Academia, Bermu DAO and 13 campus organizations. The announcement says this edition is open to Taiwan-based developers only, in teams of 3 to 5 whose members have completed advanced ME ID verification. Teams pick one of four tracks (developer tools and infrastructure, AI and trust infrastructure, on-chain finance and trading, consumer products and payments), and at least one testable core feature must run on ME Network. The prize pool is NT$250,000 paid in USDT equivalent, with prizes from NT$100,000 for first place down to NT$10,000, and it drops to NT$187,500 if fewer than 50 teams enter. Registration opened on 20 October 2026 through a Google form and closes on 13 November 2026 at 15:59 UTC. Project submissions are due on 6 December and Demo Day is on 24 December 2026.
