Exploring Complex Solutions for a Complex World Fellowship
The Exploring Complex Solutions for a Complex World Fellowship is an online, semester-long program from the Mercatus Center for high school students interested in political, economic and social life. Applicants must be enrolled in high school and at least 16 by the start of the fellowship; public, private and homeschool students in the US or abroad may apply, and parent or guardian permission is required if accepted. Fellows attend four 60-minute online reading groups and an asynchronous discussion portal, about 2 to 3 hours a week. The award is up to $750, covering a stipend, required readings, and advice on college, research and career. The application deadline for the spring 2027 semester was September 30, 2026, with decisions about eight weeks after the deadline, and no later dates are posted.
