KAUST Global Fellowship Program
The KAUST Global Fellowship Program funds postdoctoral researchers at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) to design and lead their own research in Water, Food, Energy, Health, AI and Marine Science, with a focus on the Red Sea. Global Fellows receive a yearly living stipend of US$75,000, a research allowance of up to US$40,000, medical insurance, on-campus accommodation, schooling for up to three children, a relocation allowance and annual travel assistance, for a three-year term with a formal evaluation at year 2. Applicants must hold a PhD awarded within the last four calendar years (for Call 2027, after January 2023 inclusive), name potential KAUST faculty hosts and propose research aligned with KAUST's priorities; all nationalities are welcome. The Call 2027 process has two stages: concept notes from 1 September to 1 October 2026, then full proposals by invitation only from 15 November 2026 to 15 January 2027.
