Google DeepMind Postdoctoral Fellowships
Google DeepMind supports postdoctoral fellowships for early-career researchers in AI and AI-enabled science at recipient universities and research institutes. They are open to researchers who have completed a PhD in a relevant field such as machine learning, computer science or statistics by the time they start the postdoc, and fellows can be mentored by senior Google DeepMind researchers. Google DeepMind does not direct the research, and fellows are free to pursue any research direction they wish. Host institutions have included Queen Mary University of London, the University of Cambridge and University College London (2022/23); the University of Birmingham, Imperial College London and the University of Edinburgh (2023/24); the University of Oxford and UCL (2024/25); and the Fleming Initiative at Imperial College London and the Wellcome Sanger Institute (2025/26).
