Google DeepMind AI Masters Scholarships
Google DeepMind funds AI Masters scholarships for students admitted to postgraduate AI and adjacent degrees at partner universities. The program started in 2017. Scholars receive full funding for their postgraduate degree for up to two years, a stipend for housing and living costs, a stipend for travel and relocation, a Google DeepMind mentor and opportunities to attend AI conferences and Google DeepMind events. Partner universities nominate newly admitted students on academic merit and financial need, so candidates do not apply to the scholarship directly. In 2026 the UK scholarships are delivered by the Martingale Foundation and the program outside the UK is administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE). Google DeepMind's page says applications are now closed, and IIE states the program is currently focused on supporting all active scholars from recruitment to the completion of their studies.
