Maintainer Honorarium
The FreeCAD Project Association pays a Maintainer Honorarium to members of FreeCAD's Core Maintainer group for code review, release coordination and similar work. Core Maintainers may apply on any day of the year and participation runs until 31 December of that calendar year. The Fixed Monthly Honorarium is €200 per month for months with at least one interaction with a FreeCAD repository, claimable in arrears. Ecosystem Maintainers may apply once per calendar year subject to an FPA vote. The program operates on a calendar-year basis and is reviewed at year-end.
