Second Look Research

Second Look Research is a University of Chicago Existential Risk Lab project producing open source replications of empirical AI safety research. It recently launched a Request for Replications, hiring 10 graduate-level research fellows to stress-test and validate key findings, operating as a targeted academic replication and fellowship-style effort rather than a broad grantmaker.¹
