The National Research Foundation (NRF) is a Singapore government agency that aims to build a dynamic RIE (research, innovation, and enterprise) ecosystem advancing Singapore's competitiveness. It distributes research funding through schemes including the NRF Fellowship for early-career researchers, the Competitive Research Programme for multidisciplinary teams, the Central Gap Fund for translating research into products and services, the NRF Investigatorship, and the Returning Singaporean Scientists Scheme.¹
