CIFAR - Pan-Canadian AI Strategy

CIFAR leads the Pan-Canadian AI Strategy, launched in 2017 as the first national AI strategy in the world, funding AI research and talent development in Canada. It supports three national AI institutes (Amii, Mila, and the Vector Institute), the Canada CIFAR AI Chairs program backing more than 125 researchers, AI Catalyst Grants for short-term interdisciplinary machine-learning research, and training programs from high school through postdoctoral levels.
