CSET, a Georgetown University policy research center, runs a Foundational Research Grants program funding exploration of foundational technical topics tied to the long-term national-security implications of AI. It sits alongside the other AI-safety grantmakers already tracked (Coefficient Giving, FLI, Schmidt Sciences) but is not itself in the registry.¹
