The 2026 round selected more than 500 recipients from 123 countries across 16 categories after more than 5,900 applications; more than 4,250 scholarships have been awarded since 2010. The 2027 cycle opens in April 2027.
Shuttleworth Foundation
A fellowship funding individuals implementing an innovative idea for social change around openness, technology, knowledge, and learning. Fellows receive annual salary-equivalent funding, expense contributions, a travel allowance, and project funding matched at a 10:1 ratio. It awards a ₹12,00,000 stipend disbursed upfront, one year of Adobe Express Premium, Creative Cloud, and Firefly access, and optional mentorship from Adobe researchers; the 2026 recipients have been selected and applications are currently closed.

The Horizon Institute for Public Service opened the AI Rapid Response Fellowship on 2026-07-01, a funded fellowship placing AI security experts into US executive branch roles at $170K-$250K+. Applications close July 22, 2026.

Anthropic
12-month paid fellowship placing early-career AI talent with US nonprofits; hosts receive a $10,000 implementation grant plus up to $2,500 in Claude licenses/API credits per fellow. The first cohort closed applications on 17 July 2026; Anthropic has not published a later cohort.
