Arbitrum's DRIP incentive program completed Season 1 in February 2026. Season 2 remains paused while its committee evaluates strategy; the DAO extended the program mandate through July 1, 2027 without adding funding.

The Chainlink Community Grant Program funded development teams and researchers building a more functional, accessible, and socially impactful smart contract economy. The documented application route now lives under Chainlink's archives path, so public intake is treated as paused until a current apply page is republished.
Circle's grants program for developers building USDC-powered applications, covering agentic economic activity, stablecoin FX, peer-to-peer payments, treasury management, prediction markets, and lending/borrowing. The DFINITY Foundation's Developer Grants Program funds developers building on the Internet Computer, including a dedicated DeAI grant track. Public applications have been paused since late 2025 pending a program refresh. No reopen as of 2026-08-29.
A seasonal public-goods funding program (running since 2019) that lets the crypto community fund open-source and ecosystem projects. GG24 (Gitcoin 3.0, ~$1.8M, October 2025) is complete. GG25 has been discussed in governance but has no open application window as of 2026-08-29. Grants Stack Builder (builder.gitcoin.co) is offline.
Milestone-based funding framework for the Obol Collective across three tracks: contributor work on Obol Collective SQUAD Goals, retroactive funding for community workshops/meetups/onboarding sessions (proof of attendance), and open research/technical contributions advancing distributed staking. Grants are issued in OBOL tokens negotiated at USD-equivalent value; applications went through Questbook with no fixed deadlines while live. Per Obol's own docs, the program is currently paused.
Protocol Labs Research funds goal-driven and open research advancing distributed systems, cryptography, networking, and web3/crypto-networks (the technologies behind IPFS, Filecoin, and related projects), via topic-specific RFPs, a wildcard RFP-X, open research awards, and fellowships (e.g. a $60k PL Research Doctoral Fellowship; Cryptonet network grants of ~$25k-$35k). Individual RFPs are reviewed on their own schedules. The general Open Research Grants program has been paused since early 2023.
A Sia Foundation funding program for open-source tools and applications supporting user-owned data. Intake for new proposals was paused on June 25, 2026 through the end of Q3 while the Foundation completes a long-term program strategy; approved projects continue during the pause.
