Amazon Research Awards' Spring 2026 call supported academic post-training research using AWS Trainium. The May 13 submission deadline has passed, with decisions scheduled for August 2026; selected teams may receive up to $50,000 or $250,000 and beyond in AWS promotional credits.

AWS Imagine Grant is an annual program for registered nonprofits using cloud technology to advance their missions. The 2026 U.S. cycle offers three award categories, including up to $200,000 in unrestricted support and $100,000 in AWS credits for the Pathfinder Award. BNB Hack: AI Trading Agent Edition was an online builder competition for AI-driven trading agents on BNB Chain. The DoraHacks submission window closed June 21, 2026.

BNB Hack: US College Edition was a four-week online hackathon for U.S. college students building DeFi, AI, and platform projects on BNB Chain. The $10,000 competition closed April 20, 2026.
Casper Network
Buildathon for AI-native applications for autonomous systems and machine-to-machine economies on Casper; no prior Web3 experience required. Casper's standing Accelerate Grant Program is currently suspended, making this the network's active funding vehicle.
Confidential Computing Consortium
The Confidential Computing Consortium's 2026 Research Fund supported practical academic research in confidential computing. Applications closed June 1 and the two recipients were announced July 1.
Google Chrome
A Google Chrome-run fund, fiscally hosted by Open Source Collective, that paid out to 10 open-source projects in the "advanced apps" space (progressive web apps and related web-platform capabilities) in a single distribution window in October 2022.

3-month part-time fellowship (7 positions) building open-source civic data systems, OSINT, and structured transparency data in South Africa ahead of elections.
Coefficient Giving
Coefficient Giving's Biosecurity and Pandemic Preparedness team sought expressions of interest for work preventing engineered biological threats and improving response capacity. The May 11, 2026 deadline has passed and proposals are under review.

The Compound DAO Treasury Management Committee sought one or more professional treasury managers for an initial allocation of approximately $20-25 million in DAO reserves. Applications closed June 24, 2026, and the committee moved into screening and interviews.

Deep Funding
A GG24 data-science contest that awarded $20,000 for models estimating the relative value of 98 Ethereum repositories and 3,677 dependencies. Submissions closed on May 10, 2026, and the model outputs informed a $350,000 Deep Funding allocation.
Devcon 8 India
Ethereum Foundation's Devcon team accepted proposals through August 12, 2026 for community groups to run free, topic-focused programming hubs inside Devcon 8 (Mumbai, November 3-6, 2026). Selected hubs receive a free ~48 m2 in-venue space, a dedicated stage session, and up to 5 Devcon tickets; proposals must center on a single Ethereum, open-source, or CROPS theme with no token marketing.
DARPA DICE
Broad Agency Announcement soliciting proposals for the DICE program's research into theory, algorithms, and multi-agent systems for scalable, resilient decentralized AI collectives under human control. Contract-style awards rather than traditional grants.
